Spring Lesbian Health Salon Series Schedule
Timeframe for each Salon is 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM.

February
Thursday Feb 17 - Relationship Skills to Create Deeper Connection
Hosted by Anna McGrath and Margaret Ryan - Featured speaker:  Anna McGrath.

March
Thursday March 17,  7:00 pm
Rainbow Villages - LGBT Retirement Community, Hosted by Jan Zivic
Organized by LHRC and Co-sponsored by BACW. There is no charge to attend.
Rainbow Village, is a planned LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) retirement community in the North Bay.  Currently there are no such retirement communities in Northern California.  Rainbow Village will be an intentional community where LGBT seniors (over 55) and their friends can age in place and enjoy an active retirement.  The community will also have an assisted living component for individuals who need such support on a part-time or full-time basis. The coordinators of the project will also discuss similar communities (existing and planned) throughout the US.
In our  work with elders, it has become painfully clear how challenging it is for seniors to get quality care no matter how affluent they are... and LGBT seniors face a host of additional challenges as well.  An intentional community that protects and cares for its residents and provides a safe and nurturing environment is an idea whose time has come for the LGBT community.
Space is limited, so kindly call Anna McGrath at [email protected]  or by phone at 415-255-9286 to R.S.V.P.

April - Alternative Complementary Medicine
Thursday 4/21 - Hosted by Emily Rosenberg  - Featured speaker: Darlene deManincor PhD.
