Conferences

Every June the Lesbian Health Research Center holds an event dedicated to informing medical professionals and our community about lesbian, bisexual women, and transgender health issues. We encourage you to take part in our yearly event. We not only invite speakers to talk about health topics, but we also have health stations (examples: blood pressure and body mass index) where you can check your health status.

Previous Conferences

We have held three successful conferences. Attendees ranged from women in their late teens to seventies, and from those in LBT community to medical professionals wanting to learn more about LBT health needs. Our conferences provide a space where all lesbians can meet new friends, make professional connections, and learn about recent LBT research.
