Patty Robertson, MD, co-director at LHRC, invites everyone to enjoy the evening. Watching on are Dixie Horning, co-founder of LHRC, and Dr. Betty Sullivan.

Betty thanked all volunteers and contributors, declaring that turning 50 was the easy part!

Golden Gate Business Association president NaNoshka Johnson discussed the role of community co-sponsoring organizations such as GGBA which supported the conference by helping to spread the word about the event to their members.

Patty Robertson, MD, host of the evening and LHRC co-director, explained that the involvement of volunteers from all walks of life truly enriches the work of the LHRC medical professionals.

Dr. Suzanne Dibble (3rd from left) echoed Patty's appreciations to volunteers and explained how exciting the event's preparations were for LHRC researchers and staff to observe and participate in.

Betty thanked Ann Biderman for her role as overall key organizer for the event.
